Senior Backend Engineer — Decision Systems

The Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, harden, and deploy the core systems that power Maai's decision infrastructure. This is a core engineering role with direct influence over system architecture, reliability, and long-term technical direction. You'll work closely with the founders to evolve early deployments into repeatable, production-ready systems used in real operating environments. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building foundational systems, values correctness over flash, and wants meaningful ownership early.
Implementation & Client Operations Lead

Maai Services Group builds AI-native decision infrastructure for organizations where critical decisions are constrained by manual research, validation, and synthesis. We work primarily with investment firms—including family offices, private equity, and venture capital—as well as founders and operators within their portfolio companies. Our systems are embedded directly into investment, diligence, and operating workflows to improve decision quality and throughput.
The Role
We are looking for an Implementation & Client Operations Lead to support the deployment, management, and ongoing refinement of Maai's decision systems across a growing portfolio of investment firm and operating company clients. This role works closely with the founders to learn how we scope engagements, install systems, and manage long-term client relationships. Over time, you'll take increasing ownership of implementations and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients once systems are live. This is a core delivery role and a key part of how Maai scales its services while maintaining depth, quality, and trust with sophisticated clients.
